The satellites move really fast, and travel the entire world in 90 minutes.

How can the satellites be visible again less than 2 hours after being seen? The older chains like Starlink-1, 2, 3 etc have spread out and are no longer visible as a chain, that's why this app doesn't include them anymore. These 60 satellites initially fly in a "chain" formation, but over time they spread out and move to their own orbits. Starlink is launched in groups of 60 satellites per launch. Where are the older Starlink groups, like Starlink-1, 2, 3, etc? Otherwise the results page will be very cluttered. That way, when you see the first satellite in a chain, the rest will follow behind in that chain. So this app tracks only the first satellite in every "chain" of satellites. Many are in groups of 30-40 satellites, and fly in a "chain" formation. Why are there only a few satellites in this app? Doesn't Starlink have hundreds of satellites? So don't worry about the Live Map, the Results page is what you should believe. But because they're so high up in the sky, you can still see them. They travel nearly 500 km/300 miles EVERY MINUTE. The satellites move at an unbelievable speed. Why was the satellite very far away on the Live Map when it was supposed to be over me? Daylight-savings/summer/winter are already included, if required. The time is always local, you do NOT need to convert it. The smaller the number, the brighter it is.ĭIM means the satellite might not be very visible. Common Questions - What's the number next to BRIGHT/DIM? Thanks for using this and enjoy gazing at the beautiful night sky! :)

If you haven't made your way to Ember Valley, check out our guide on that, and look for more Slime Rancher 2 guides here on GameSkinny.Using this site, you can find out when the Starlink satellites are expected to be visible at your location. Getting to Starlight Strand luckily doesn't require a jetpack or anything but vegetables, though the same can't be said for other areas. Head through the teleporting beacon, and you'll find yourself in Starlight Strand. Though you may want to make a hard right and head up a nearby path to get the second map for the Rainbow Fields area.

Go through the cave and follow the path where you need to go is obvious thanks to the beacon of light. After the light spectacle, backtrack down to the spot marked on the map below: Head down into the cave and interact with the switch. Feed it the vegetables you brought with you, and once it's had its fill, it will explode into several Cotton Slimes and grant passage into the cave it was covering. Some Water Lettuce can be found down the ramp and to the left from where the Cotton Gordo sits. Head to the spot indicated on the map below: Those will likely be Carrots, but if you can get your hands on the Cotton Gordo's favorite food, Water Lettuce, you'll only need 15 to unlock the area. You'll need 30 vegetables to feed the Cotton Gordo blocking your path to Starlight Strand. This Slime Rancher 2 guide tells you how. As Starlight Strand is one of the earlier unlockable areas, you can do so right from Rainbow Fields provided you know where to look and have some vegetables to spare.
